Temple Beth El is a vibrant and egalitarian Conservative Jewish congregation serving the Jewish people of Dutchess County and the Mid Hudson Valley for more than 80 years. The Congregation provides opportunities through religious services, educational meetings, and cultural, social, and recreational activities for Jewish and Intermarried families in the community. Temple Beth-El is committed to both tradition and diversity.
The goal of Temple Beth-El is to be the following:
- - A house of prayer: aiding our members in their search for meaning in life, fulfilling the spiritual needs and longing of our Jewish community, providing a path that brings us closer to each other and to God.
- - A house of study: supporting and fostering a community dedicated to Jewish knowledge, learning and living. We have learning and service opportunities for children, teens, and adults.
- - A house of assembly: creating a welcoming home and sense of family for our members. We welcome individuals of any generation to our services, our classes, our special events, our social gatherings, and our community celebrations.
- - An integral part of the foundation of K'lal Yisrael, the Jewish people, supporting Israel and all good causes with support, both financial and otherwise.
